These terms apply to all services and goods supplied by Nootz Pty Ltd trading as Nootz Security Services. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Services and installation
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the site conditions observed at the time of assessment. Where site conditions differ materially from those observed — concealed structures, asbestos, inaccessible cable routes, non-compliant existing wiring — we will notify you with photographs and obtain your written approval before proceeding with any variation.
Scheduling and access
You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the site, including any inductions, permits or owners corporation approvals required. Where access is not available at the agreed time, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is payable on acceptance of quote and the balance on practical completion. Accounts are payable within 7 days of invoice. Title in goods supplied remains with us until payment is received in full.
Workmanship warranty
Our workmanship is warranted for 12 months from practical completion. Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, which we administer on your behalf. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, power surges, water ingress beyond the device's rating, or works performed by others.
Monitoring services
Alarm monitoring is provided through a graded monitoring centre. Response is performed according to the response plan you nominate. We are not liable for the acts, omissions or response times of police, emergency services or patrol providers. Monitoring depends on functioning communication paths; you must notify us of any change to your internet service, phone service or site contacts.

Pricing and availability
Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Product information and stock availability are sourced from our distributor feeds and are updated daily; occasionally an item may be unavailable or incorrectly priced after you order. If that happens we will contact you and offer an alternative, a backorder or a full refund.
Orders and payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we accept your order and confirm dispatch. We accept card payment via Stripe, PayPal, and electronic funds transfer. Orders paid by EFT are dispatched once funds clear.
Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Risk in goods passes to you on delivery. See our shipping and delivery page for current rates and timeframes.
Returns
You may return an unopened, unused item in original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund less a restocking fee, provided the item is not special-order or clearance stock. Faulty items are handled under the Australian Consumer Law and the manufacturer's warranty — start the process through the contact form before returning anything, so we can issue a return authorisation. Liability
No security system can guarantee that a loss will not occur. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the resupply of the services or the repair or replacement of the goods. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
