Quiet systems that answer the awkward questions
Who came in, when, on whose credential, and what was recorded. Most office incidents are settled by an access log rather than footage.
- 01 Card & mobile access Credentials issued and revoked in seconds, with a full audit trail per door.
- 02 Discreet CCTV Fitout-grade dome cameras at entries, reception and the comms room.
- 03 Visitor intercom Video door station at the tenancy entrance, answered from reception or a phone.
- 04 Comms room protection Access logged, door-ajar alerts and environmental sensors on the alarm.
- 05 Monitored alarm Zoned per floor or per suite, with individual codes for cleaners and contractors.
Fitout coordination
The cheapest time to do this is before the ceiling closes
Almost every awkward office install we are called to could have been simple. Cable pulled through a finished ceiling, readers surface-mounted on a glass door that was never prepared for one, a camera in the only position where a bracket would fit rather than the position it needed.
Bring us in at the drawing stage and security, access control and structured cabling get designed together, coordinated with the electrical and joinery trades, and installed while the ceiling is still open. It costs less, it looks like part of the fitout, and you get as-built documentation at handover.

Documentation
Every system we build is handed over documented
Ask most offices for their door schedule, camera positions or network diagram and you get a shrug and a phone number for an installer who has moved on. That becomes a real problem the day you change providers, renew insurance, or need to prove something after an incident.
We hand over a device schedule, install photographs, credential groups, network topology and rack layouts at completion. It is unusual in this trade and it is the single thing clients thank us for years later.
- Device & door scheduleEvery camera, reader and sensor listed with its location.
- Network documentationSwitch names, port assignments, VLANs and rack layouts.
- Credential structureUser groups and access levels written down, not held in someone's head.
- Maintenance reportingScheduled testing with a written report insurers accept.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions we get asked most. If yours isn't here, call us on 0433 633 777 — you'll speak to a technician, not a call centre.
What does an office security system cost?
A single-floor tenancy with a monitored alarm, four to six discreet cameras and card access on the front and comms room doors typically runs $6,000 to $12,000 installed. Multi-floor tenancies with lift access, visitor intercom and a larger door count scale from there. Everything is itemised — door by door, camera by camera.
Can we use phones instead of cards?
Yes. Mobile credentials are standard on the platforms we install, and for most offices they are better: nobody leaves their phone at home, revoking access takes seconds, and there are no plastic cards to reissue. We usually deploy both, because visitors and contractors still need something physical.
Will cameras upset staff or breach privacy?
Cameras in an office should cover entries, exits, reception, the comms room and any high-value store — not desks. Australian privacy expectations and most enterprise agreements draw the line at monitoring people at work rather than protecting the premises. We will tell you if a requested position is going to cause you a problem, and we document coverage so you can show staff exactly what is and is not recorded.
How do we handle after-hours access for cleaners?
Cleaners get their own credential and their own alarm code, valid only in the window they work. The system records the entry, the disarm and the exit, so an incident on a Tuesday night has a short and definite list of who was in the building.
Can it integrate with our lift and base building?
Usually yes, though it depends on the base building system and the landlord's appetite. Lift destination control, tenancy floor access and base building card compatibility are all common requests. We scope this early, because it is the item most likely to need landlord approval and lead time.
What protects the server or comms room?
Card access on the door with an audit trail, a camera framed on it, and a door-ajar alert if it is left open. Environmental sensors for temperature and water are worth adding — most comms room incidents we attend are a failed air conditioner or a leak, not a break-in. The same visit usually tidies the structured cabling too.
Do you work with our fitout contractor?
Routinely. Security, access control and data cabling should be designed before ceilings close, and coordinated with the electrical and joinery trades. Coming in after a fitout is finished costs more and rarely looks as good. Bring us in at the drawing stage and it is cheaper on every count.
Can we manage several offices from one system?
Yes. One management interface across tenancies, consistent user groups, central reporting and remote credential changes. When someone leaves the business, one action removes their access from every site rather than a phone call to each office manager.
