Why Wisenet

Commercial CCTV that stands up as evidence

Hanwha Vision — the business that was once Samsung Techwin — builds Wisenet cameras for exactly the sites we work on: shops, supermarkets, warehouses, offices and multi-site operators who need footage that holds up when it is reviewed the next morning.

The cameras handle backlit doorways and low light well, the on-board AI tells a person from a vehicle from a moving shadow, and the hardware is NDAA compliant. We pair them with Wisenet NVRs on smaller sites and Wisenet WAVE where there are multiple buildings or a security team watching live.

  • AI on the cameraPerson, vehicle and face detection that cuts false alerts.
  • Low-light performanceUsable colour and detail in poor lighting and backlit entries.
  • Cyber securityNDAA-compliant hardware with long-term firmware support.
  • Wisenet WAVEScalable recording and search from one site to many.
  • Mobile accessSecure live view and playback from your phone.
  • Open standardsONVIF support, so it integrates with what you already have.

We install and support Hanwha Wisenet systems across metropolitan Melbourne — Dandenong, Keysborough, Clayton, Ringwood and the Melbourne CBD — for retail stores, supermarkets, warehouses and offices.

Because we are brand independent we will also tell you when Wisenet is not the right fit. Every quote is itemised, every camera position is justified, and the system is tested and handed over properly — see how we approach CCTV installation.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions we get asked most. If yours isn't here, call us on 0433 633 777 — you'll speak to a technician, not a call centre.

Why choose Hanwha Wisenet over cheaper camera brands?

Image quality in difficult light, AI analytics that are accurate enough to rely on, and a manufacturer that takes cyber security seriously. Hanwha hardware is NDAA compliant, which matters to government, finance and corporate tenants, and firmware support runs for years rather than months.

What does a Hanwha Wisenet system cost installed?

A typical four to eight camera commercial system on a Wisenet NVR usually lands between $3,500 and $8,500 installed, depending on camera series, cable runs and the analytics you want. Larger multi-site systems on Wisenet WAVE are quoted individually, and every quote is itemised.

What is Wisenet WAVE?

Hanwha's video management software. It runs on a server or appliance, handles anything from a handful of cameras to multiple sites, and gives you a fast desktop and mobile client for live view, search and export. It also supports many third-party cameras, so an existing system can often be brought across.

Can I view my cameras from my phone?

Yes — through the Wisenet mobile app or the WAVE mobile client, with per-user permissions so staff only see the cameras they should. We set up remote access securely rather than by opening ports on your router.

Can you add Hanwha cameras to my existing system?

Usually. Wisenet cameras are ONVIF compliant and work with most modern NVRs and VMS platforms. We check compatibility during a free site audit and tell you whether adding to or replacing what you have is the better spend.

Do you service and repair Hanwha systems?

Yes. Firmware updates, failed cameras and recorders, storage upgrades, recovering admin access and fixing systems that were never configured properly. See camera repairs and servicing and maintenance.

Can I buy Hanwha cameras from your shop?

Where they are in our distributor range, yes — the Nootz shop updates daily with same-day dispatch on in-state stock. For a complete system we recommend a supply-and-install quote, which is usually the cheaper path once labour is included.
