What we fix
Tell us what is broken
Pick the symptom. Every one of these is a routine service call for us, on almost any brand.
Reactive service
Existing-system fault finding, done properly
Most security faults are not a broken camera or a dead reader — they are a failed power supply, a PoE switch port, a drive that died quietly, or a configuration change nobody documented. Swapping parts until the symptom goes away is how sites end up paying twice.
Our technicians test the whole chain — power, cabling, network, storage and programming — find the actual cause, fix it, and write it down. You get photos, a plain-English explanation and recommendations you can take to head office.

How a service call works
From fault logged to fault fixed
No call centre, no ticket that sits for a week. A technician looks at your fault from the start.

Log the fault
Call 0433 633 777 or send the form. Tell us the site, the system and what it is doing — photos of error screens help.
Triage & book
A technician, not a call centre, reviews it and books attendance — same or next business day for most Melbourne commercial faults.
Fault-find on site
Power, cabling, network, storage and configuration checked properly, so we fix the cause rather than swapping parts until it goes away.
Fix, report & recommend
Repaired on the day where parts allow. You get a written fault report with photos and clear recommendations — no upsell.

Security system technicians Melbourne
Service calls across Melbourne
We attend commercial and retail security faults across metropolitan Melbourne from our base in Dandenong — the south-east, the CBD, the inner suburbs and the east, including Clayton, Ringwood, Richmond and Frankston.
Vehicles carry common spares — hard drives, power supplies, PoE switches, locks and readers — so most faults are fixed on the first visit. Where a part has to be ordered, our own distributor-fed shop means same-day dispatch on in-state stock.
If the same fault keeps coming back, the answer is usually preventative maintenance rather than another call-out, and we will tell you so.

Answers
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions we get asked most. If yours isn't here, call us on 0433 633 777 — you'll speak to a technician, not a call centre.
What does a commercial security service call include?
Attendance by a licensed technician, on-site fault finding across power, cabling, network, storage and configuration, the repair itself where parts allow, and a written fault report with photos and recommendations. You know what was wrong, what we did and what — if anything — still needs attention.
How quickly can a technician attend?
Most Melbourne commercial and retail faults are attended same or next business day. Sites on a maintenance plan get priority booking and 24/7 attendance for critical faults such as a site that cannot be secured.
Do you work on systems another company installed?
Yes — existing-system fault finding is most of what this service is. We work across Inner Range Integriti and Inception, Tecom, Bosch, Aiphone, Comelit, Hanwha Wisenet, Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Vivotek, March Networks, Genetec and Ubiquiti, and regularly take over sites where the original installer has gone.
What does a service call cost?
A call-out fee plus labour, confirmed before we attend, with parts quoted on top if needed. Most single faults — a dead camera, a failed hard drive, a lock that will not release — are fixed in one visit. Maintenance-plan clients get reduced rates.
My cameras are not recording — is that a service call?
Yes, and treat it as urgent: the footage you need next week is the footage that is not being recorded now. The usual causes are a failed surveillance hard drive, a PoE switch or power supply fault, or storage that filled because retention was never set. See CCTV and NVR repairs.
Can you fix doors that will not lock or unlock?
Yes. Failed mag locks and strikes, door closers that stop the door latching, power supply faults, controller errors and card readers that have dropped offline are all routine. See access control repairs.
Do you provide reports for head office or insurers?
Every service call ends with a written fault report — what we found, photos, what we did, and prioritised recommendations. Multi-site retailers use them for asset registers, and they are useful evidence for insurers and landlords.
Can we stop faults happening in the first place?
Mostly, yes. A preventative maintenance visit catches failing hard drives, flat backup batteries, tired door hardware and outdated firmware before they become a call-out. Most clients move onto a plan after their first fault report.
