Information we collect
Enquiries and quotes
When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the service you are interested in and the message you send us. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and provide the services you request.
Shop orders
When you place an order through our online shop we collect your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address and order contents. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) and are never stored on our servers.
Website usage
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device type and referral source. We also use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated form abuse, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy and terms of service.
Site and system data
Where we install or maintain security systems, we may hold site documentation, device schedules, network diagrams and photographs of the work performed. This is retained so we can service your system and is not shared with third parties without your instruction.
How we use and disclose information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver services, fulfil orders, provide warranty and maintenance support, and meet legal obligations. We may disclose information to:
- Our monitoring centre partner, where you have engaged alarm monitoring
- Suppliers and distributors, where required to fulfil an order or warranty claim
- Payment providers (Stripe, PayPal) for processing transactions
- Our email delivery provider (Resend) for sending order and enquiry emails
- Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.
CCTV footage
Footage recorded by systems we install belongs to you, the system owner. We access it only with your authorisation, for the purpose of servicing or supporting the system, and we do not retain copies. If you are recorded by a client's system, that client is the entity responsible for that footage — contact them in the first instance.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Enquiry and order records are retained while there is an ongoing business relationship and for as long afterwards as required for warranty, tax and legal purposes.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or make a privacy complaint through the contact form or by calling 0433 633 777. We respond to requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Cookies
