Nootz runs on technicians, not managers. You get a fully equipped vehicle, you talk directly to clients, and you own the job from arrival to sign-off. There is no script and no upsell target.
What we ask for is straightforward: turn up when you said you would, ask when something is unclear, document what you did, and leave the site cleaner than you found it. Do that and there is genuine scope here — manufacturer certification, more complex work, and a say in how jobs get run.

What roles do you hire for?
Security systems technicians (CCTV, alarms, access control, intercom), structured cabling technicians, and occasionally an apprentice or trade assistant. We also take on experienced Inner Range and Integriti programmers.
What licences do I need?
A Victorian security installer licence is essential for security work, plus a current driver licence. An open cabler registration (with structured cabling endorsement) is strongly preferred. White card and working-at-heights tickets are useful and we will help you get what is missing for the right person.
Do you take apprentices or juniors?
Occasionally, for the right attitude. We are a small team, so you will learn on real sites from day one rather than sitting in a van. Reliability and a genuine interest in doing things properly matter more to us than a perfect résumé.
What is the work actually like?
Varied. One day a supermarket ceiling in Dandenong, the next an apartment intercom in the CBD or a comms room in Nunawading. You get a fully equipped vehicle, you deal directly with clients, and you are expected to leave sites clean.
Do you offer training?
Yes — manufacturer training and certification, including Inner Range Integriti certified and advanced technician pathways, plus ongoing industry standards and safety training.
